(Not So) Grand Opening

This story is a behind-the-scenes documentary of the moment Grid City Beer Works opened its doors for the first time amidst the COVID-19 pandemic during its grand opening on April 23, 2020.

With their much-anticipated opening slated for March, the pandemic forced Grid City to postpone as the country had begun to shut down. The brewery’s business model hinged on being a brewpub and had no plans to distribute their beer in cans.

After delaying their launch by more than a month, the Grid City team pivoted to find a way to get their beer out the door.
